  1. I create it in Solidworks and imported into C4D. I have the file in STL, STEP and other formats. I will import with another file type and see if the mesh is better and use Pose Morph. I also looked at Lattice Morph Have you had any experience with Lattice Morph? If so, do you think it will work
  2. Thanks CR, Yes, that is correct. But i try to deform that and either the whole part deforms (limited or unlimited setting) or within box only the bit within the box i deformed and the tab doesn't move. Image below, is this correct? I would have expected the tab to move as i increased the bend %. I have attached the OBJ for this. Could you have a ook and let me know if I am doing this correct? 2020-04-25-MS-SIL-COVER.obj
  3. I am new to C4D coming across from Solidworks . I am a product designer/engineer. I have only been using C4D for about 7 days and am stuck on a modelling issue with a USB tab. I am am doing a campaign video for IndieGoGo and i need to show the product I designed with the USB dust cover in the open and closed position. I have tried the bend deformer tool but because of its square bounding box, it grabs nearby polygons. The bend tool is in limited setting. Can someone provide advice on the best method to bend this part. Attached are images...
