  1. As shown in attached image, my timeline is stuck in the really low negative numbers. is there a way to reset it to 0,0? I'm scrolling and scrolling and it's just stuck at -2700000 And when I restart c4d it doesn't change. When I make a 'new timeline' it doesn't have any of my keyframes, obviously since it's a new timeline. Is there a way to fix this? Has this happened to anyone else?
  2. Is there a way to speed up a final render in Corona by having it not show up in a viewport at all? i don't want interactive rendering, just the fastest possible render. Is this possible? Thanks, Harry EDIT: Is it just adding it to the render queue and rendering from there?
  3. Can you please explain this? I don't understand what you mean. Per the second point, what I meant about "a high quality final render of my liking", was that I don't need to worry about Progressive Rendering passes for my final render, right? I'm aware it's a deeper issue and that there's much more to adjusting the quality of your render, and what all that entails. Thanks again for your help, i really appreciate it.
  4. I see, so if I leave Progressive Rendering enabled when I do my final render from the render Queue, will it just slow things down? It won't make a difference in the render? In order to get the high quality final render of my liking, I just increase the sample max, and adjust overrides?
  5. I see, so Progressive Rendering and hiking up its passes has nothing to do with the realness or quality of the render? It's only for speed in real-time viewing? I guess I'm wondering if I hike up the passes of progressive Rendering, and viewing it in IPR, will I be getting an accurate depiction of what my final render will look like? When I render my image in the render queue, progressive rendering isn't even a factor then, right? It's only based on my Samples mon/max and overrides at that point right?
  6. New c4d and Redshift user here. Is IPR just for rendering in the viewport? I render animations and I'm wondering which is best to use. If I enable Progressive Rendering, does it override Unified sampling? If Progressive Rendering is faster, then why use Unified Sampling? I'm still trying to understand redshift, so any help on clarifying this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Harry
  7. I was talking about the large gallery page. It just had images of people's work. Not case studies or blog posts.
  8. The showcase page of user's work on the MAXON website was very inspiring and I'd check it from time to time for inspiration. I can't seem to find it anymore. Am I crazy or did they remove it?
  9. I am planning on purchasing a 3d scene from TurboSquid that is 'set up to render with c4d and Corona'. However, I use Redshift. Is there a way to transfer all corona materials to redshift materials? Are materials the only thing I'd need to change? Is there anything else I will need to shift around in the scene to work for Redshift? Cameras, lights, etc? FOr reference, it's a high-poly building, in a realistic setting on a street with sunlight, trees, etc. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this is not a recommended move, Corona scene --> Redshift, please let me know, cause I don't want to dig myself into a hole. Thanks, Harry
  10. Is there a way to duplicate an object (Redshift Camera, in my case) without copying its keyframes? I want to duplicate all the settings of the camera and the redshift tag, but I don't want to duplicate its keyframes. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Harry EDIT: I figured out that when I add a new camera, it comes in with all the settings of my current camera. So, what is the best way to copy a tag to another object, retaining all the adjustments to the tags parameters I've made?
  11. Couldn't find what I was looking for, but wow what a great resource! Found a studio lighting pack I want to get. Cool.
  12. I work for a lighting manufacturer making product videos in c4d with Redshift, and I'm looking for a good resource for downloading pre-made 3d spaces like living rooms, offices, lobbies, etc. to put my light fixtures in. I've utilized TurboSquid, but is there any other site or individual seller with a larger selection of c4d/redshift compatible spaces? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Harry
  13. I'm making a product ad similar to this one by Bose. Whether or not they did it in c4d, I'm trying to recreate their smooth, quick white to black transitions. There's one here at :07 and one here at :53. Did they likely just have two versions of the same animation, just one with an overall black theme, and one with a white theme, and do the transition in AE? Or is there a way to do this in C4d? I apologize if it turns out this is an AE question... Any thoughts or suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Harry
  14. Thank you, I am aware of where it is. When I enable displacement in both, or disable it in both, the same difference/problem is occurring. Nothing changes
  15. The object has redshift tag in both files, but I have displacement off in both.
  16. I'm working with the same asset in two separate files. Same material on both. The first image is how it looks in the first file. The material is looking good here; that's how I want it. The second pic is of the same object and same material, but in my other scene file. The bump is larger, more displacement, etc. But the object and material are exactly the same in both, literally copied and pasted form my first file. This is only happening with this object. The same material is working fine on other objects across both files. Am i doing something wrong in copying objects and materials between projects? I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Harry Edit: I'm using redshift. It's a redshift material.
  17. I'm looking for a good studio lighting kit to speed up my workflow. I'm using R23 and Redshift. I know of GSG's Light pro kit but $300 is too much for me right now. Has anyone used this kit on Hello Luxx: https://helloluxx.com/product/studio-tools-pro-lighting-kit/ ? Looking for something under $100.
