Hello, Questions: I am using the Physical renderer of C4D. Should I ditch it and start to learn Redshift instead? I have a RTX 2080 and a 3900X 16 core Threadripper. For pure 3D text and simple animations, should I use Element 3D over C4D or Blender? My history to explain my situation and questions above: I have recently started a hobby creating YouTube content, not to make money, but to challenge myself and teach people concepts as a hobby. I started a few months ago in After Effects to design my 2D/3D content for my videos, and that has gone extremely well and I've pretty happy with the results. One of my scenes required some neat looking 3D text, and I wanted to use the camera to spin around and make it look cinematic (no, not a title, it's a teaching scene.) At that point I started looking into purchasing Element 3D and getting it all done within after effects. However, since I also wanted to do 3D graphics that exceed the capabilities of E3D, I decided to take the last few weeks to learn Blender and C4D. After my initial impressions and research, it seems that C4D will be my weapon of choice because of the seamless integration into After Effects. I have prepared a few newbie questions above, based on my stated history. Thanks!
