Hello Guys Its been a while! so i am trying out redshift for rendering and really enjoying it so far, but I am confused, I learnt that the texture channels need to be adjusted to linear space for proper working in redshift but when I experimented with it Both the gamma corrected node and the raw texture node appear to give the same result? only when i gamma override and give it to 1 do i get a different result. can somebody explain what is going on? Hey! so i tried out your tips and figured that the non planar geo was causing issues like that, the extruding part helped fix it! so I tried out your variation and for some reason i get these jittery edges when subdivided, is there something that i missed to add in the mesh to make as clean as yours? model2.c4d
  4. So these Kinds of Non planar geo must always be avoided?

  6. Sorry For the confusion guys, I actually wanted to go for look in the picture and so the extra edges on top of the surface. the top part on the cylindrical surface blending with the rest of the mesh

  8. Hello Everybody, I'm Rayhaan and I'm an aspiring digital artist. I have been using c4d for a few months lately. was working on atom array for a few days and have encountered a bit of a problem with the generator. is there a way to model the wireframe that atom array uses without the spheres but just the cylinders, or is there a way to weld the cylinders to the circle or to other cylinders or to the sphere itself?
