I was experiencing exactly the same symptoms. Here's the fix that worked for me: Download latest NVIDIA drivers. At the time of writing I used: NVIDIA Studio Driver 512.96. You can probably use the Game Ready-driver as well, but the point is to have updated drivers overall. Use Add or Remove Programs to find "Rivatuner Statistics Server". Uninstall that shit and never look back. This part is important. Make sure you actually uninstall it, when it ran the uninstaller.exe it looked as though it was uninstalled but it was NOT. Make sure you do not have MSI Afterburner running and then try to uninstall Rivatuner again, if needed. Restart computer. No more crashes
