Cinema 4D This C4D file is crazy laggy

So whenever I click on a button, the software reacts like 20 seconds later. It is really not useable at all. I tried reinstalling C4D and V-Ray but no luck. I am using a high end workstation with a Quadro 6000 GPU and 3960x Threadripper CPU. 32GB of ram... I understand it is a large file, but it was working normal last week.
