  1. Have your emitter start and stop so that your particles animate in and out, then loop it in post by layering the render and offsetting the second layer so that it becomes continuous. Or you can do the above ( animated in and out) cache the particle simulation, and create a second emitter that uses the cache and offset the time of the cache so it becomes continuous.
