  1. Hi, I have a problem with replacing my animation with XPInherit instead of using XPCover. Image 02: I used XPCover to target my cables onto nearest surface. Image 01: I wanted more control so I used XPInherit with 2 emitters. However I am unable to grasp the concept of how to control the 2nd emitter, and now the particles are emitting a bit too far from the sphere, causing the cables to bend weirdly. Is there a way for me to emit particles on the surface of the emitter and pause them there? The goal attached, so more tips to improve would help aside from my XPInherit issue!:
  2. Okay so I decided to get X-Particles anyways, anybody have suggestions how should I go on with X-Particles to recreate these connecting tendril cables? 😅
  3. I guess I'll have to keep looking, at the moment on my mind it's something along using a cloner combo with tracer or sweep and reverse the direction or something. X-Particles makes these stuff so easy for their customers.
  4. The creator mentioned he used X-Particles and I looked up their tendrils function seems that's what he used to get them to connect from one end to the other. Yeah I get what you mean, like this right? After that how do I generate / emit a swarm of them to grow/connect? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFmHKd2Uow4
  5. Hello, I am very interested in this effect by Hirokazu Yokohara. I wanted to create two ends of a cable connect with each other and generate them like this. I am not able to afford X-Particles, so I am hoping to recreate this maybe using anything like splines on emitters, etc. Any workaround ideas?
