Hi all! New member here. Have been using C4d increasingly over the last 8 years, so I know my way around, and am otherwise pretty resourcful at finding solutions online, but this one has me stumped!
I have a motion tracked scene, however the scale is completely off. And after finding someone else with the same problem online, the solution they were given was to scale the project.
And that works GREAT! Tracking matches the footage flawlessly after I do that.
However if I close C4D, or it crashes (eh-ehm, R25), when I reopen the project I will find that my motion tracking is completely off again, identical to how it was to begin with. So I find I have to select and "cut" all scene objects except the camera (& tracking elements). Then "scale project" again using the same parameters as last time, then paste scene objects back in. This fixes everything to be identical to my previous scale project.
Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? Does anyone have any alternative solutions?
