Mike, This is great for some parts of what I need to do and I have found an updated version of aaOcean: https://www.plugins4d.com/Product/aaOcean I'll be using Redshift too. Would you be prepared to share your workflow on how created the animated texture and displacement maps? I'm having to update an old piece of work where I used C4D depot infinite ocean (great plugin - i with they'd update it) Here are the types of shots i'm having to recreate. I currently need an interim fix for C4D and Redshift, but if you think the best way is Houdini that is a long term fix i'll need to look into 🙂

Hi, This is an old headache for me! I need some advice on the best way to create a bow wave/boat wake in C4D. My head is ping ponging with different aproaches, but instead of floundering on which direction to take I thought i'd put it out there for you experts to point me in the right direction. Can it be done with Fields, X-particles or do i need to look at other Software (Houdini)? I hope you guys can help. Tony
