  1. Ah, so you want the angle between shear start and end - I thought you want rotation angle value of deformed plane :)
  2. Hm, maybe something got misunderstood then :) The result node shows the exact angle by which plane is deformed in relation to world 0. That is exactly what you were looking for...?
  3. There is numeric value in Xpresso result node in degress. Uncoverted is in radians...
  4. Ah, just recalled that MoGraph can solve this - here is a quickie :) Shear.c4d
  5. There is an example in docs how to use dot product to calculate angle :) https://help.maxon.net/us/#GVDOT

    Cell WIP

It's a little to clean for prison cell ;)
  7. There is spin edge command which is an equivalent :)
  8. Thank you very much, I really do put a lot of effort in trainings and want to create fluid experience for people. Aaaaan I am not Russian although I am Slavic (Croatian) but your presumption is usual for people in the US :) Never had the chance to meet Scott but I recall overhearing his name few times in relation to Houdini. As far as I know, there were additional nodes added very late at cycle so the documentation didn't make it in time for translation. I am pretty sure it is a matter of days since German docs are already out.

    TD Master Class

Hi This is a master class training set and you would need a good overall C4D knowledge, however, it is aimed to teach you some scripting if you nevr did it :)
  10. I just tried running prime serial and seems it is there, so answer is yes :)
  11. Yep, that time flies so fast sometimes that I think it is "rigged" somehow I wanted to mention that all files are commented so people can dissect setups easily, like this.
  12. I just realized that I didn't upload them - they are on the way :)
  13. That doesn't sound good - allrigthy and okay are my punch lines...
  14. Of course :) There is an dedicated asset lesson where I cover resource editor in moderate depth
  15. Hi folks :) I am happy to announce this exclusive training which covers new and fantastic Node based system inside CINEMA 4D. As usual we start from the ground up, covering the basics, remove any fear from using nodes, demystify complete process, show essential skills needed and progress to very end where we build very complex materials. This training concludes everything to make you 100% proficient in node system and even includes asset creation. Training also shows how to use Node system outside of shading context with usage of objects. Nodes raise shading and rendering in CINEMA 4D to completely new level. I am sure that you will absolutely love this one :) Lesson outline: 01_What_how_why 02_Datatypes 03_Simple_materials 04_ Soap_Bubble 05_Alpha_mask_logo 06_Xray 07_Wire 08_Hazard_symbol 09_Procedural_Blur 10_Decal 11_Candle_flame 12_Rusted_paint 13_Animated_shader 14_Asset_creation Duration: 3 hours Grab it from the store here https://www.c4dcafe.com/ipb/store/product/19-introduction-to-r20-nodes/
  16. Folks, it takes some time to process all and send the links. Sometimes they end up in spam folder, so please get in touch if you haven't received the mail!
  17. There doesn't seem to be any morphing in the video :) It is all objects being gradually replaced by others and some camera work. Sure, you can do that but morph would not be essential for it, just a helper part. Try to isolate the effects you want to reproduce and then make crude versions first. After that refine. For this particular example, MoGraph + OpenVDB would be best way to approach it. Cheers
  18. Great work! My daughter loves this - especially the butt part makes her giggle
  19. Hi Can you post a simplified scene file? If not, you can send it to me via pm and I can take a look and if necessary send it to MAXON for inspection since by the sound of it, there might be a bug in there.
  20. Ah, I see :) To get data from clones you need to use MoGraph data node. Then, by changing index value you access specific clone. Here is a quick example Assembly_0003.c4d Now, what you want to do and expand on this setup is to calculate the difference between initial clone rotation and end rotation, and use that value for you range which will drive offset in cloner during one interval (you have to accumulate this value, python node can do it easily). As a result, with each interval, offset will be added whcih corresponds in "amount" of rotation. Hope this helps Cheers
  21. Can you post a simplified version of the scene? There could be easier ways to approach this
  22. Hi there I am sure they will answer you, they are probably swamped with mails, however, I'll try to reach them myself and point them to your issue Cheers
  23. Do you have a simple scene file? would be easier to visualize what you need :)
