  1. We are working on making a part of the TD forum visible to everyone. All Classes come with project file, summary, duration etc :) Currently there are two classes. First is double constrain ball and chain rig, and second one is Lepesa(fan) primitive rig, both using Xpresso and Python node.
  2. Hi Dave :) Your concerns are noted and arguments are valid. If you are waiting to see enough content to subscribe that is entirely up to you but entry fee will rise once there is enough content. I can assure you that I have enough time allocated and can produce them reasonably fast due to their structure, as oppose to full blown A-Z trainings which are very, very demanding to do. btw I am uploading new lesson as we speak :) Cheers
  3. We thought about this and only way to counteract it is to increase initial subscription purchase price once there is enough content, which will be followed then by regular monthly fee. Either way early subscribers will benefit the most, and even if we decide to later increase subscription monthly fee, the ones that got it and extend it regularly before increase preserve privileged price. @Nachov Good idea, will see what we can do
  4. @everfresh As content is delivered the list will be made with what is currently available. Re VAT: Unfortunately no due to local regulations. Paypal receipt is all that we can provide. @kokoro Building whole setup would take significant time and would result in looooong video. Would just a part, prototype suffice? For example, how to create interactive parts which bounce the ball and user driven flipper etc? @elham Simply subscribe via store, there will be first video today :) @UWSoft Of course, simply use the store @jed TD stands for technical directing or technical development. MSC is Master section Class
  5. @everfresh By subscription you are not buying a set, rather access to Section. Videos will be downloadable so you will be able to freely save them to your drive. Rest of subscription is targeted to the ability to: - Propose topics for class - Participate in discussion and problem solving - Learn stuff not available elsewhere (or highly scattered) The quantity, or the release rate will be much higher than former training lines and in a course of a year I am estimating at least 50 videos.
  6. Yes, that is something we always do and we will do it this time also, however the fee will be very modest in first place.
  7. Facial rigging added to the list :)
  8. Great, will explore that one too :)
  9. Great to see interest! folks, I already devised some scenes and collected some ideas on what to do. There is a lot of material and I will try to target stuff that benefits most of people, not just small group (but will cover that too in future). Plan is to keep videos on shorter side with faster pace since general C4D knowledge is assumed. Expect something in two weeks once return from business trip :) Cheers
  10. No site in question, this would be a private tutor in Germany. drop me a message in inbox :) Cheers
  11. There are various training vendors available, however, with that sum you could have private 1 on 1 tutoring which is certainly better. I can recommend you someone in Germany for on site training if you are interested in such possibility?
  12. This can help :) http://www.redblobgames.com/articles/noise/introduction.html
  13. Please attach a scene file or generic mockup, example etc of what exactly you are after. Looking at this from single standpoint can be limiting factor. Often there are much easier ways to achieve something without resorting to scripts
  14. Check out the interaction tag, it outputs various events. Cheers

    AMD Ryzen hotfix

Hi folks Hotfix for AMD Ryzen is now available https://www.maxon.net/en-gb/news/maxon-news/article/hotfix-providing-ryzen-support-now-available-for-cinema-4d-and-bodypaint-3d-r18/
  16. Cool, so there is interest :) We will start with this in few weeks, I have to choose some good topics and construct few scenes.
  17. Cool stuff, will certainly be used :)
  18. Please attach a scene file and use Cafe attachment facilities to upload images/file...
  19. Ah, I missed the part when clones go upward a bit. Simply create plain effector with box falloff and drive it's strength via Xpresso when it needs to be "lifted" upward. Use output from range mapper to detect the event and simply use another range mapper to map the effector strength. Cheers
  20. Doable with MoGraph, Cmotion and Xpresso. Here is an Xpresso version so that you can have most control and no keyframes :) Cheer Animation_Setup_0002.c4d
  21. Folks, can you write few examples where it was difficult for you to achieve the effect/rig/setup, or you never actually made it? This will give me clearer idea what would be most interesting. Thanks :)
  22. Hi Cafe folks :) I have noticed that quite a few questions which require more complex solutions and deeper knowledge are sometimes unanswered on Cafe. Also, I receive daily requests for help via pm for complex problems where I unfortunately mostly can't help due to lack of time. This also shows that real high quality stuff is not really shown anywhere, apart from bits and pieces scattered all over. Most tutorials that are available are revolving around localized, specific effect or with issues of medium complexity. Given this I am pondering with the idea of creating a "master TD" section where I would show some really advanced rigging, setups, TD stuff. For example, are you interested to know how to create interactive rubik cube? polymer rig? custom python effector? L system rigs? pond drops? slinky? gravitational waves? or any effect that pops to your mind? Let me know then and we can think about how to set this up if there is interest. Since this would require a lot of work we are thinking about creating a small section in forum which would be accessible for small fee to members. Recording this tutorials would take a lot of time so some compensation is expected. The final result would be video training per project, scene files with documentation and comments throughout the scene (Annotations, Xpresso comments, code comments) to help user dissect and understand the logic and principles used. If you have questions simply fire away! Cheers

    Floating Barrels

There are certain "levels" which you can't get on if you don't acquire technical knowledge. This is simply unavoidable and often a source of frustration if one chooses to ignore it. Paper backed credentials are certainly nice and can't hurt, but are not imperative. For example, many best artists that I know off don't have them :) Chose an area, arm yourself with patience, watch tutorials and read books which cover what you want. Do not skip essentials, concentrate on fundamentals. Using wrong technique reinforces and amplifies the problem, leading to more frustration. Give yourself simple generic tasks where you will utilize fundamentals. I will take a guess based on your writing style and presume you are quite young, so you have time which is an asset of highest value and conditions to learn. Use it wisely...

You will get good at something by following simple formula :) talent(small impact) + invested time (huge impact) = results
