You can place simple vibrate tag with a little rotation on one or two axis. In this example these two lads have exactly the same motion clip ( simple up and down movement an bit of rotation). Then little time offset and vibrate tag added. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8i31qeiymdmbo32/vibrate.mov?dl=0

You can use Extrude or Loft to give it a shape. Just drop your lines under one of those.

Alpha colour and delta in your screen are greyed out because C4D expects image file in this texture slot. BTW these two are not for controlling alpha opacity but they are to fine tune clipping. You can use Color shader all right. Just drag and drop from Attribute Manager to Xpresso editor. Then you will be able to choose ports like Brightness and Color.

maybe Iteration and Link List nodes..You can group your deformers by type and then drop them into Link List node
