  3. Very very usefull, thank you, coming from modo i have missed a function like this, it should be native. Like align verts top bottom left and right.
  4. Great plugin and tutorial, thank you. I'd change the hat though.
  5. So there is https://sourceforge.net/projects/upyplugins/ for R21 based on the ePMV python script to visualize a library of documented proteins. I was wondering if there are any other scripts or plugins to display organic molecules, perhaps even in combination with x particles? Haven't found anything yet but that is just me searching. Anyone? Philip

    LWCAD for R23 Works

Quickly build a house with doors and windows and shingels, then blow it up with voronoi or build a rural scene. It's bliss

    ePMV

I recently stumbled upon a python script named ePMV (as in python molecular viewer) which allows you to load and use molecular models. As is elegantly demonstrated by Elizabeth McDonald combining it with volume mesher here. https://youtu.be/bIOt_pXxxXk Point is I cannot find this ePMV script for download (or sale) nor find out if it works with R23. Any suggestions? Thanks Philip

    wave deformer

Looks like Wave Deformer v0.1 by Johannes Kollender (www.kollender.com) does not function in R23. Does anyone know of an alternative? Thanks Philip

    LWCAD 2020

LWCAD was just updated to 2020 which means the C4D version isn't that far off anymore. Victor Velicko writes: It (lwcad c4d) is very much alive. As I wrote in this thread, it was necessary to finalize new Mesh TR first. R23 version is already recompiled, now fixing bunch of reported bugs from last couple months. And I want to also update some UI things, which bothers me the most. So R23 version will go out soon. And then you can expect the first bunch of floor-plan tools with the next version. Maybe even this year, if there will be no big delays. Development will go much faster now in C4d version. Check out LWCAD 2020 here:
  14. Kangddan actualy made a tutorial, in Chinese and got somehere halfway translating it. Haven't read anything about it since november 15 last year when "Victory was at hand"
  15. While I can in a way sympathize with the aversion to non-C4D software promotion, after all this is a C4D hub, creating a C4D-only bubble seems a bad idea to me. Knowledge about new trends and techniques in 3d opens up new possibilities, stimulates growth. Important ingredients if you run a company, big or small. And demand for a certain solution promotes the development in C4D. You could argue I should visit other dedicated sites for that. But I would like C4Dcafe to be an inspiring open place. So a post about the awesome poly crunching and ligthing capabilities of the Unreal Engine 5 by Epic should be possible. And yes post about the ubiquitous Blender too. As suggested a new subject heading would be a good compromise. Something like Third party or Industry news. Philip
  16. Well this looks like a lot of fun to play with, Key Mesh for Blender Proof of concept anim test. "KeyMesh" is a Experimental Feature to create ifferent meshes per frame in the same object. Dev:Pablo Dobarro Test and Anim by Daniel Martinez Lara
  17. Impressive everfresh, no particles were harmed with the making of this animation. Philip
  18. Very cool looking project! Except perhaps for the reflection, might use something more organic or abstract? It's strange to see an office reflected in muscle tissue. Philip
  19. Thank you. True that, the alternative would have been solid eyes but then the character would haven been less of a puzzle piece. White background compulsory.
  20. Just finished this fun project. I'd drawn a 2d mascot for a client earlier. Next they wanted it to present a new platform. So to keep the image interesting we went for a 3d version. https://youtu.be/jur900dm1X8
  21. Thanks again HSrdelic. Next up is fluids and kidney failure. Philip
  22. There, it's done. here's a link to the full animation with a crappy english CC
  23. Thank you, I will post it once the client has released the animation. Philip
  24. Clip (no audio) from an animation I made to inform dialysis patients about the importance of their loyalty to their medication. I build two characters Aart and Annie in Modo to tell the story. Rigged by Aleksy Voznesenski (ace 5 studios) because i suck at rigging and animated by me in C4D. Rendered with Redshift. Once the client has published i can share the full animation.
