I am surprised some plug-ins are not working in 2024. Laubwerk and forester for example don’t even show up. I haven’t tried other plugins yet. Do they have to be recompiled?

Wasn't aware R2024 was released today. Just updated and now it works as before. Now see what the new version brings!

Ok, did some research and found out it is indeed a known bug in latest Redshift. I hope this will be fixed asap!

Hi, I always was able to convert C4D materials to redshift with the build in conversion tool, but now it is not working anymore. I tried it in R2023 with latest redshift and on R23 also with latest Redshift. R2023 is on Mac and R23 on a Windows machine. When I convert a simple material all I get is a Redshift material with only one (empty) node. This happens with every material I throw at it. Is this a bug or is something wrong with both my installs? Thanks! Olav

Hi, thanks! I’ll give it another try tomorrow. I already loaded the vdb from pyro in, but with a pyro material, so maybe that is not the right way. Maybe it’s just not possible.

Hi, I am trying to teamrender a pyro scene. Latest c4d 2023.2 and Redshift. I get a pyro asset error. A cached scene won’t render either, same error. A normal non-teamrender render works great. Any thoughts? Thanks

Yes Pyro is absolutely very great to have inside C4D. Next up Hydro? 🙂 I am still on a perpetual R23, but I see Maxon is indeed putting really great value into the subscription model so I consider to switch to R2023 sub very soon.

I'm with C4D with every release since R6 and I bought my initial MSA years ago after an upgrade was released, so I bought the upgrade (full price) and also a new MSA at that time. That MSA gave me the next upgrade for "free". So I never get 2 releases in one MSA. I got R21 for my previous MSA-period that ended at the end of September 2019. So release 23 should be included in my current MSA that ends 30 September 2020. So I only got Free Cineversity for one year for a ridiculous high price. I try to reach MAXON to see what they can tell me about this situation, but I'm afraid they only offer me the current discount on subscription. Olav

It seems I'm out of luck. No reply from MAXON so far and my local sales representative tells me I'm not getting R23. If I read the words from McGavran in this thread I assumed I would get R23. Strange... and very disappointing.

resurrecting this thread. I still have a valid MSA (end of September) so if I understand well I should get a copy of R23. Am I right? I contacted sales, but no reply yet and my licenses are still only showing R21. Anybody else in the same situation that received R23 yet? Love to her it. Olav
