  1. I'm not sure about ghost Dynamics, but again, effector itself can be a trigger. Give it some Falloff and bring the strength at 100 %. gostEffector.mp4
  2. Hi, You could use Shader Effector with position parameter altered and animate it's strength over short time - 2-3 seconds. In Dynamics body tag set Trigger to: At Velocity Peak. Hope that helps spread.mp4
  3. Hi If edge selections have the same names it should work. You can create string User Data with the name of an edge selection and plug it into deformer. It even works with instances..
  4. Hi. There is quite fast movement going on, so you probably need to increase steps per frame.. Project Setting under Expert tab- Steps per Frame - crank it up to 10 or more.. Also your objects are fairy small size. Phone is just 1 cm thin. It might be correct relating to real world values but from my experience C4D Dynamics don't like that..
  5. Hi everyone. Price is now reduced to 800 Euro.
  6. I also couldn't find solution for using clones. My idea was to bake animation of clones and then transfer animation data to polygonal objects and get collision detection that triggers material change. I couldn't find the way to lock the new material though..Probably use of freeze node or similar would work. But boy... jed's example is great ! Colour_Change_On_Collision.c4d
  7. Hi, XPresso is right. You can use Noise Node to drive Bend strength. Also, you can control amount of it via Range Mapper or Math nodes..
  8. No problem, always glad to help. Well, to learn about time track, take a glance into manual. In general Time Tracks influence or change the timing of your animation. To point you in the direction take a look at this clip ( specifically from 30 min) Actually you can watch the whole video and you won't be sorry. Every time when Mike The Monkey presents something it's worth watching. http://www.cineversity.com/vidplaylist/nab_2010_rewind/
  9. Hi. In C4D that's what Sample Node in Xpresso is for. It samples (in this case) strength and passes it to other attributes like position or amplitude of vibrate tag. You can also pass it to a Null's position for example and bake it. Then use that baked curve as a Time Track.
  10. Hi I am selling my perpetual license of C4D Broadcast R19. It's for Europe and UK Price is 1000 Euro. I am covering transfer fee. If interested send me PM
  11. Hi, here is an example how to constrain emitter to a surface. I created a single polygon, placed it inside the pipe and attached the emitter to its surface by constraint tag. Set Fix Position in the Clamp tab. Then connect this new poly with your pipe as a single mesh. Depending on the camera angle it might be visible. If so, then put some material with alpha and constrain it just to that polygon. PE_constraint.c4d
  12. ..also you might try to change camera projection type to Parallel with zoom value 1
  13. Here is another example how to fracture plane with simple linear two-point splines. Points of those splines have to be always perpendicular to the direction of the cut, so they create straight, rectangular lines. Again, it uses MoGraph Selections to fracture further down the way. Movement is achieved by noise - actually two slightly different noises. One is slow and gentle, the other one faster and more hectic. In that video you linked, all was created by scripting, but I am one of those who as Jed mentioned once “when they see a line of code they run a mile away”, so I used Xpresso. Hopefully this will point you to the right direction. MultipleFractures.mp4 MultipleFractures2.c4d
  14. After looking into teknow file I realized I didn't get you right. Instead of X-ray look you wanted to render mesh with edges..if so – couple of plugs: http://www.mustaphafersaoui.fr/quick-tip-01-c4d-wireframe-render-generator/ https://nitro4d.com/product/magic-wire-frame/ http://www.biomekk.com/index.php?page=1&cat=107&itm=18
  15. Play with Fresnel shader in Transparency & Luminance channels.. xRay2.c4d
  16. If it doesn't need to be animated, you could start with Voronoi Fracture using Matrix Object as a source – create bigger pieces first - then select few and re-fracture them further.. You can add bevel afterwards..
  17. It didn't work because you hadn't activated Point Level Animation or because you weren't happy with the results it gave you?

  19. I'm not sure whether you want each object to to have it's own seed and flicker the same way over the time or maybe just make an impression of that each of them flickers differently..If the latter, then - as Jed mentioned..Mograph and Shader Effector could be helpful. Place your objects under Fracture object. In material luminance channel put Mograph Color Shader. Add Shader Effector- turn off position scale and rotation Transforms and make sure Color Mode is ON. Also, turn off Use Alpha so the effector would use Strength instead. In shading tab choose some Noise shader set it's speed and also tune contrast ans brightness. flicker.mp4
  20. Funny thing has been happening in my Timeline, never had it before..I have couple of markers placed along whole sequence. As long as Power Slider is stretched across the whole length of the sequence – all markers are visible, but at the moment I squeeze it to last portion of my sequence markers disappear from Timeline. More interesting - after moving Power Slider a bit back, those markers turn up again... some devilry at work.. super annoying..
  21. Mograph Cache and then Current State to Object
  22. This is because, after making your Extrude Object editable C4d splits it into 3 separate meshes: extrude1, cap1 and cap2. Connect them unless you want them to be separate.
