I use Dan's tools and his FBX tool to switch to Maya for animation and back to C4D for rendering. My v15 Maya and my v15 C4D comprise one big toolset with Dan's tools. I can't use his CD Make Symmetrical (it spoils the UVs) as he never posted an update that I was aware of. His support was first rate, however.

My work station is a dual CPU @2.5 hrz so it renders fast but is slow to respond to movement.The response in the Octane Live Viewer is real time.

I sure wish someone would take up his franchise. With all his videos and tools that allow so much automation into the animation game, it's a shame to see it fade away with it's currant users.

As I use Octane for materials and rendering and 3D-Coat for model creation, my R15 with Mograph and Cactus Dan's tools makes a nice fit. The only problem I have is slow viewport response with animation so it's hardware I need. HSrdelic's assurance that the Cafe continues is welcome. Bon voyage, Nigel! -

It's so photoreal that the two versions allow the viewer to believe it was done on a computer. The Vray version appears more colorful. Congratulations (unless it is a photo and your only pulling our leg). -
