In version 0.4 I fixed a few bugs and also decided to provide the "Ring" and "Loop" as separate commands. This way you can assign a shortcut to either and quickly perform the "edge to ring or loop" selection using the custom-assigned shortcut.
Additionally, I have also provided a way to script the "skip" feature. This way you can assign a custom shortcut to a script with a frequently used skip amount. An example of a scripted "Ring with skip amount 1" and one for "Loop with skip amount 2" is provided for your convenience.
You simply need to modify the SkipAmount variable in the script to the value you desire, then assign a shortcut to that script. You can create as many scripts with different SkipAmount as you want, and (optionally) assign a shortcut to each of these scripts ... or call them up via the Commander (shift-C)
