1. Let's assume that S26 exceeds everyone's expectations. Fixed UI, all bugs fixed, native RedShift, SceneNodes are complete, some Xpresso simplifications, new features involving vertex maps, voronoi fracture, Photogrammetry and Video Stabilization, mapping skeleton rigs on other skeleton rigs, parametric spline rounding, VDB deformers and new capsules. BUT same accumulative price (C4D + RedShift) and you loose backwards compatibility with all your past projects. Would you buy the new Release ?

2. The next release of C4D gets a significant discount. No perpetual Licence. Modules are back, you have to pay each month for each module to keep them active. The full price of C4D is equally distributed to all modules. Would you subscribe to the new release ?

Houdini spreads eye-gasms again with Release 21
As a Houdini subscriber not working with a team of 50 artists, this video really means or tells me nothing, which is fair I guess because the program is made for teams and not low paying customers like me. All the same, there are so many basic fundament workflow issues that need to be addressed, it's concerning. -

Houdini spreads eye-gasms again with Release 21
I'd be happy if they dumped just one of those Olympic quality upgrades for 6 months later and did a UI refresh of the entire app. -

Smear effect with Scene nodes or XPresso
C4D's Jiggle Deformer can't match the CA Stretch Deformer I found a good old video demonstrating it
