Just a heads up for those that don't already know, but Chris Schmidt is up on c4dlive.com at 1430 PDT (2230 BST, UK). So about 2 hours away at time of posting... His presentations tend to be better than everyone else's, in that he usually spends 100% of his time packing in an incredible amount of practically useful information, and I think he's doing another Top 50 Tips and Tricks session this year, which are always essential viewing, I find... I had quite a few people telling me they used one of my old videos where I showed some of the best settings to change in C4D, so I figured I would do an update for R19. In this one I cover what preferences you can change to prevent c4d from locking up your machine whilst rendering, project settings which make working on smaller scenes easier (yay, no more 2 metre wide cubes!) and how to clean some of the fluff out of the tool bars.

I've been working on this character for a couple of days, i wanted to revisit the toy subject again, but this time with a more rubbery, soft plastic look, i also wanted to create a character that was completely opposite to anything i'd usually do, so with that in mind i came up with a completely new style of character, Peeping Tom. The kind of guy waiting in the bushes outside his house spying on unsuspecting people and loving it, i'm still tweaking and playing around with the materials, i also did a second version of the head with a balaclava :D some 3k renders to feast your eyes on, just view them full size peace :)
