Hey all! I am wanting to render my object with shadows only so that I can import it into photoshop and then put it on other backgrounds of my choice. Is there a way I can render the object and shadows separately?
Okay, you need to enable Axis then reset the position of the coordinates to 0,0,0 in the coordinates manager and make sure it's in World. Huge bug in V Ray, hopefully temporary fix.
Can someone give me a a rough idea of what the time frame should be to render this image using Vray? Let's say it's 3500px x 3500px.

Hello all! It's your favorite member again with yet another newbie question.
Can someone tell me the basic shape for this character? Would it be a sphere and I extrude the top or would I use a capsule shape and extrude the belly part?
Or none of the above?
Ok I'm back after many a failed attempt. Attached is a picture of what I'd like to achieve - thoughts on the best route for this specifically? I want to make it look like an object is making an indent inside another object.
Hello all! I want to make a squishy rock that looks like its bottom is squished against the ground.. is the only way to do this with soft body dynamics and then animate it? I am not creating an animation, but I can't seem to get the effect without hitting the play button.
Is this correct?
Hello all! Your favorite newbie here - Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but if I got it wrong please let me know.
I want to put sprinkles on a donut but it is taking a LIFETIME to do it manually. Literally, I think i'll be dead before I finish adding them all.
I want to add like 100 little spheres all around the donut. Is there a faster way to do something like this?
Hello! I'm using Vray 5 standard material and I cannot get the distort to apply. Where am I going wrong? Any ideas?
Or does this need to be posted on a V-Ray forum?
