Geometry nodes have seen a dramatic update, and the new (much awaited) Asset Browser is another key new feature. An animation pose library is integrated. And of course a boatload of other improvements and bug fixes across the board.

  2. I find that highly interesting. Not just how many different usecases there are for blender, but also what kind of different users and cases seem worthy for the blender foundation to get featured in such a video. This really gives the impression, that everyone in welcomed no matter where she/he is coming from Nation, profession and skill wise. I really like that. it is basically the opposite of the alienation we have seen in other areas of the industry. No wonder that a lot of customers who feel excluded look if they can find a new home with Blender.

  3. as a c4d fan and user i should thell now blender more atractive to me than before. i try 2 times to switch to it. bu cant. because of sh*tty interface, usage style. absolute crap in versus c4d. c4d more professional. for example sweep is not correctly and no easy to use in blender. just small things like this is does blender not workable for me. and like this lot of things in blender are very poor and in own style that non compareable with industry standarts. but soon i want to try it again. because of c4d is expensive for a freelancer like me. and also have lot of problems inside. poor with game asset making pipeline. poor character animations sclutp and etc. also pain render, paid particles. also no sclupt. in my case i want to switch maya indie or blender. if blender 3 resolve some of its problems and become more industry friendly in usage i will choose this. but on side of any of my opinions blender really more groosly rises than most of softwares. specially c4d. sad but truth. c4d not any render engine for free that will be compared with blenders. cycles is monster now. becomes more and more speedy. eevee also good. about c4d everyone know that render engine fossiles stil there and if you want normal one(redshift) you should pay extra. its sad situation. but blender in few areas muc more ahead of c4d. sclupt, render, viiweport, vse, compositing, and will be in nodes. i i was start today, i will choose blender instead of c4d. everyone who i know all of them (including me) recommending start with blender. because if its the future. if people doing first step in to 3d world this step should be blender. i cant belive anymore that c4d have a good rise potential. devs or ceos or brain teams choosing its nearly always faulty and they tries do not better cinema 4d. they tries become new houdini . but houdini without own free renders, without own free particles, fire-smoke and fluids. just few nodes. assets and etc. sory for if i wrote in criticism but truth is truth. blender free and in most areas ahead of c4d. c4d is better with only in motion graph, procedurality and easy of use. i am just in sad for c4ds situation. and happy for blender progres and how it becomes more and more real alternative for industry mainstream apps. soon i will try 3.rd time to switch to blender and hope thiss time i will do it. because of money stiuations.

  5. This video is as important as the release video, it clearly shows how in front of the line, Blender is when it comes to its customers, and how much care they have for everyone.
